Bio

Not just a band, The INMEN are a precise unit; four beings that act as one to create music with an almost animal urgency. Together, this Brooklyn
Quartet juxtaposes guitars with synthesizers and augments energetic live drums with electronic beats. They borrow from synth-pop and industrial groups of the past to craft a new sound, one that is dark, edgy and emotional without compromising its pop roots. The inmen have recently been logging long hours at Manhattan’s Stratosphere studios working with veteran producer Eli Janney. The resulting recordings showcase both the band’s raw energy and their commitment to catchy melodies. Out of the studio, they are even more explosive. Their live show is dynamic and energetic. With a taught interplay of moody lyrics, sexual charisma and incendiary rhythm. They emerge with syncopated lights and a massive sound. This is a group that is redefining pop music. This is a band not to be missed.

The INMEN continue to make a name for themselves by playing gigs at East Coast venues such as NYC’s Mercury Lounge, DC’s Black Cat and Philadelphia’s Trocadero and TLA. In addition to rock clubs, the Inmen have brought their sound to the dance floors of Boston’s Start Party, NYC’s TisWas, and Philly’s Making Time. They have also rocked the crowds at Central Park’s Summer Stage and at both the Digital Club and CMJ music festivals. In a relatively short period of time, the INMEN have supported a wide variety of impressive acts, including , Junior Senior, The Electric six, Gary Numan, They Might Be Giants, DJ Hurricane, Dougie Fresh, Imperial Teen, Poster Children, Spoon, Interpol.
