THE INSIDE ROAD is a Nashville-based duo writing and performing their unique brand of Americana / acoustic pop music. THE INSIDE ROAD is currently available for bookings at house parties, house concerts, festivals, corporate events, fundraiser events and restaurant/bar venues.
You can count on THE INSIDE ROAD to
play songs that will spark a love of fun and feeling good. The founding and current members of THE INSIDE ROAD are . . . .
NIKKI DEAN (writer / vocalist / guitarist)
is the winner of UCLA'S LIONEL RICHIE SCHOLARSHIP, two BILLBOARD AWARDS and an
ASCAP WRITER AWARD. She has also had
several movie cuts, including one in "Terror Tract" with John Ritter
and Bryan Cranston. NIKKI has performed
in clubs around the world, from her native Amsterdam to Osaka, Japan, with radio
air play from New York to Los Angeles.
BARBARA BROWN (writer / bassist / back-up
vocals) took up the long-loved bass guitar in 2005 to become part of the fun, amazing live music scene in her adopted hometown of Nashville. She joined forces with NIKKI DEAN to throw down some bass lines for the songs in her catalog. The two have been writing and performing as THE INSIDE ROAD in several configurations since 2013.
