The Interrbobangs

'The Interrobangs’ are a local band whose passion to play, perform and please their audiences. They primarily play rock, funk and dance but their repertoire is constantly expanding as they aim to challenge themselves and keep audiences entertained.

During the last few years, the band has played at many venues and for various audiences, under their previous name of ‘Dissonance’. Representing the youth of Queensland in Creative Generations (2008-2009) was an opportunity of a lifetime. At these events they played to more than 6000 people and had the chance to perform in profession venues such as the QPAC, The Brisbane Convention Centre and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

Since 2006 they have had the opportunity to play at many concerts, festivals, private functions, parties, at discos, taverns, as well as numerous gigs and competitions. In late 2009 the band took 2nd place at the Get Staged competition. Recently they were selected for the top 7 of the Blue Water Festival Battle of the Bands, and received and excellent response from the audience and the judges.

The Interrobangs are constantly applying their skills to their art so they can continually grow as a band. In the near future they will be finishing and recording their EP, so keep tuned for the latest updates.
