Bio
Originating from jam sessions at friendly gathers, The Intire project has quickly grown into one of the top requested bands to perform at top events in Hawaii. There first full-band performance was for the Surfrider Foundation Fundrasing event in 2010, which they have continued to play every year.
Since The Intire Project has built a solid following through live shows; performing at several noted events including the opening act for the LT. Dan Band, and the headliner for the Alternative Hawaii Concert at the famed Hawaii Theatre.
Their first full-length album, "Change In Tides" was released in October 2012. The album demonstrates the diversity of sound that a mostly acoustic act can provide. The instrumentation is intelligent and the vocals near pitch perfect.
The Intire Project is influenced by good music.
The Intire Project consists of 5 artists:
Matty Mcintire (Guitar/Vocals/Lyrics/Beat Box), Ethan Jones (Upright Bass), Tyler Mongan (Banjo), Kilin Reece (Electric Guitar/Lap Steel/Back-up Vocals), and Drew Henmi (Drums/Back-up Vocals).
