DOWN TO MY GRAVE;have songs on movies and Tv series Get A little dirty is the theme tune to a Australian soap series called RESCUE SPECIAL OPS new series in sept 2010 average viewing figures are 1.2million people per episode and is now being shown in New Zealand
also in the united States have just secured the promotional theme tune for "TURF WARS" ,"DESPERATE LANDSCAPES" and "YARD CRASHERS"

Aniff Akinola is renowned vocalist, writer, producer and ex label owner. One half of cult manc hip-hop outfit ‘Chapter and the Verse’, co-writer of a Guy Called Gerald’s classic house anthem ‘Voodoo Ray’, co-writer of Kirsty MacColl’s hit ‘Walking Down Madison’ and general co-conspirator of such 90’s electronic luminaries as The Orb, Steve Hillage and The Beloved also co writer of Ian Browns "Set my baby free" and more recently one half of the duo Backyard Dog whom wrote the the top 20 hit " Baddest Ruffest" which went on to become the 2002 Coca Cola World Cup theme and Feat in Ali Gs "In the house" and " Bend it like Beckham . The Ironweed Project is his latest incarnation which is described as a mash up of blues ,drum n bass and rock electronica .
The Ironweed Project were invited to and played at SXSW in 2008 and have had a song on the movie “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People” and whose song is presently being used as the theme tune on a 13 episode Australian hi octane soap drama called Rescue Special Ops with viewing figures averaging 1.2million per episode presently the show is now in production for a second run of 13 episodes . The Ironweed Project have to date recorded 2 albums and 1 live ep . The band were involved in some interesting collaborations between Sony Ericsson and themselves culminating in the band creating some extremely cool videos using Sony Ericsson mobile phones see links
