The Burn it Up EP: Fall 2008

Bio

The Ivy League got its start in spring 2007. Adrian, Alex, and Dan go to summer camp together, and they recruited Drew shortly after forming the band. They immediately started playing gigs in the NYC metropolitan area and recording. A year later, the Ivy League is gearing up to release a full-length album, "Burn it Up," due out in fall 2008.
The group comes from a wide range of influences. Of course, they listen to Paramore, All Time Low, Forever the Sickest Kids, Metro Station, The Rocket Summer, and the like. But group influences span from experimental rock to jazz to classical to fatback 70s funk. All of these influences come together to form one of the catchiest, most danceable sonic palettes of 2008.
