Inside Out was first EP released in 2009, an independent release distributed through MGM and available for digital download on iTunes. Radio play through Triple J, FBI Radio and regionals.
Second EP, In The Company of Wolves, released October 2010. Another independent release distributed physically through MGM and digitally through iTunes. As we have just released, airplay is imminent but yet to be finalised. Streaming available through our own website as well as MySpace and facebook.
Video clip for first single, Smaller The Print, airs on ABC television for the first time on 6th November.

Bio
The Ivys have been sonically assaulting Australian Live music venues since 2008. Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, 2009 saw the release of their massively fancied debut EP Inside Out and their critically acclaimed national tour with UK’s Keane. 2010 brought some changes to the line up and a regeneration of an already unique sound…bringing new songs, new directions and a massive lift in energy.
Lead singer and songwriter Luke Hannaford has been working on new material for most of this year, tapping a raw and rich vein of ideas that left the band with tough choices about what to take into the studio.
With New York’s Eric J Dubowsky at the helm (a former colleague of Rick Rubin) their follow-up EP “In The Company Of Wolves” is the long anticipated second release from The Ivys. In a marriage of extraterrestrial proportions, The Scare guitarist Brock Fitgerald features on the recordings.
Still bleeding from the experience, the band launched the EP at The Annandale Hotel in October and has plans to tour extensively through 2011.
