The jaime (leah) wren band

BandBluesFolk

A blues and folk blend with a bit of Americana; we love what we do and do what we love; play anywhere for anyone... with just as much enthusiasm for a small crowd or large group of people.

Biography

We all came together as a band after hearing of one another; (Joe and I played for five years with the Tonedogs, a Canadian rockin blues band) and discovering that we were like- minded, had mutual respec for each other and simply a love to Get Out There and Play. We have culminated our influences from blues to folk and rock a billy and blended it adding our distinct sound and approach; that gets people dancing or really listening, depending on the ride that evening. I love to reach people through singing, it is a way to touch the soul... and makes people happy(ier), ourselves included. How do we stand apart? Kevin is rather short 5 foot tall, maybe smaller- but he has the biggest ( I do not mean LOUD) sound- and leaves people in awe- hence lightning. He plays with his soul. We get people laughing on whatever- it's just spontaneous, just part of the fun.. and give it everything we have... everytime. We are always adding some new songs, keeping favorites, but continually evolving to become better and better. The journey never ends.
