Minnesota-based singer-songwriter Jake Jones has been playing music his whole life and shows no signs of stopping. From a Sears catalog drum set he had when he was 5-years-old to picking up a guitar for the first time at fifteen, music is the heart and soul of this indie/folk rocker who is well on his way to a bright and promising future in what he considers his calling.
"I spent five years in college trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life,” says Jones. “I studied religion, English, Latin, just about everything, but I always came back to music. If I could just figure out how to do that and be happy, that’s all that mattered.”

Jake Jones was born and raised on the frozen plains of Minnesota, where he spent endless winter nights picking his guitar and crafting solemn songs about love, life, and the in-between. The Arrowhead EP, Jakes debut studio effort, embelishes his sparse acoustic sound with pedal steel, heavy percussion, soulful harmonies, and dramatic lead guitar. His debut single, Cowboy Song, drips with mournful regret and uncertainty; and the rest of his EP promises nothing less. With spring approaching, Jake is ready to brave the cold and sow his music throughout the community.
