Jay McCarrol is fast becoming one of Boston's most unique Singer/Songwriters. Hi srich and hauntingly beautiful compositions range from dulcet ballads to hook-filled pop/rock to raw, all-out rock & roll.
Although his sound is influenced by artist including Radiohead, Ben Folds, Pearl Jam, The Guess Who, and Cat Stevens, Jay's music retains a sonic quality all its own.
Jay McCarrol's band is comprised of Austin Jenkins (guitar), Joe Huettner (bass), and John Hirst (drums). Jay's vocals and piano playing combine with the band to create the complete Jay McCarrol sound.
