Bio
The Jeers formed in Ottawa in 2010 out of an association between comrades old and new. We draw on our experiences performing and recording in a large variety of genres and settings. The Jeers emerges from a return to our earliest engagements with music - the need to let loose. Our songs are snapshots crafted around evocative lyrics and careful attention to arrangement, melody and 'the hook'.
