Bio

Jeff Jones (lead singer, guitarist)
Jeff, 33, has been playing guitar for 15 years and built his musical background from playing solo throughout the states and Europe. He has been playing professionally for a decade in locales such as Atlanta, Portland and at numerous venues and events throughout the Lake Tahoe area, where he currently resides.
Born in Clovis, New Mexico, Jeff attended New Mexico State and Arizona State, working toward a degree in creative writing and playwriting.
He has released three CDs, "Where Do I Begin," "Live At Squaw Valley and Then Some" and his newest "Barbed Wire Sandals."
Some of Jeff's musical influences are Chris Whitley, The Rolling Stones, Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson, ZZ Top and Dire Straits.
"It's all about telling a story and putting music to it," he says. "You start with an element, person, item or space and you build a story around it.”

Eric Matlock (vocals, keyboardist)
A self-taught-musician, Eric has been a featured performer in the Tahoe music scene for several years. He has worked with Pete Nevin and the Deckheads and has helped raise funds for Truckee Alliance For The Music Arts scholarships that go to high school seniors.
Eric's musical influences range from Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, Bjork and Duncan Sheik.
"Jeff is a serious musician and he goes the extra mile," Eric says. "He has made the commitment to take his music to the next level, and all of us are committed to work to do that as group. Jeff has a story to tell in every one of his songs. We're all about taking Jeff's lyrics and build around it."

David "Fez" Duffie (bassist)
Growing up in the late 1970s in Red Bank, N.J. he toyed with the violin, clarinet, piano and trumpet before playing the bass in high school with a band called The Hormones - shades of Lou Reed and the Ramones. Fez, a resident of Incline Village, worked with a truckload of bands during his college years at Virginia Tech and thereafter, including with a member of Iron Butterfly. Fez's music became a serious priority when he moved to Incline Village in 2000. He played in Blue Nectar - a groove rock, blues band - and produced "Tahoe Blue" - on which Credence Clearwater Rival bassist Stu Cook played on.
Fez and Jeff hooked up in October 2002, combining on the creation and release of Jeff's CD "Where Do I Begin."
"I feel good working with Jeff," Fez says. "He's has a great singing voice, a stage presence, deep lyrics. I love the live aspect of this band."

Blake Beeman (producer)
Blake has worked 25 years as a professional sound engineer, 30 years as a professional guitarist, touring and recording with Dave Mason of Traffic, members of the Eagles, Steve Winwood, Aretha Franklin, Ac/DC and Mick Fleetwood.
He is currently working with Jim Gamble (Rolling Stones engineer) on designing, building and servicing Gamble's mixing consoles, currently used by such artists as Bob Dylan, Cristina Aguilera, Dave Mathews, Paul Simon, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, Tom Petty and the Allman Brothers.
Blake has engineered more than 3,000 live shows for such acts as No Doubt, The Wallflowers, Frank Zappa, Ice T and Body Count, Karl Denson, Robbie Kreiger, Jerry Garcia and Dick Dale. He owns "Bird House Studios" in Tahoe City and is the house engineer for North Tahoe's Sierra Vista bar and restaurant, engineering for national touring acts.
Jeff's latest CD was recorded, mixed and mastered on SAW software.
