The Je Ne Sais Quoi

The Je Ne Sais Quoi are from Stockholm, Sweden. Since their beginnings in 2003, they have played over 60 shows, many of them on one of their tours in european contries such as Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and Spain.
Having played everything from squats to hipster parties, living rooms and big festival stages, they have grown into a great live band.
The Je Ne Sais Quoi make music that reflects the asphalt they walk on, the dance floor they party away the boredom of monotonous weekdays on, the rythmic rattling of the subway train they ride home on, feeling truly melancholic but in a comforting way
They are inspired by the sweat on Fela Kuti’s forehead, by the hairspray in Kate Pierson’s hairdo, by the splinters of wood around Steve Shelley’s drumkit and by the way Tina Turner manages to sing like she really loved Ike even though he was a mean fucker.
