"Doug Brod"

"You guys certainly have chops and a cool soaring guitar tone. There's a lot of potential here." - Head Editor of Spin Magazine

"Perry Farrell"

"Can see a future on radio. Seems to have all the ingredients that radio is looking from current recording artists. I have a feeling the gals will gravitate around this sound. Classy production with strings and piano, working well with drum programs." - Credits Include: Frontman of "Janes Addiction", "Satellite Party", Founder of Lollapalooza Festival.

"Tim Kasher"

"Very talented songwriters, but I have a hunch there are major label bins overflowing with this kind of thing. If you manage to surface to the top, then it doesn't really matter how many bands you're up against. I guess it's a matter of how to do that. The music is too well-polished for my taste, but I don't think my taste applies to what you guys are setting out to do anyway. So, good luck!!" - Singer, Songwriter, and Frontman of popular Indie band "Cursive"

"Vox Pop"

"The Jetsetting is a sound that leaves songs in your ears, and words in your heart. Winning the top votes in the MusicNation/Spin Magazine Competion proves that this band's experimental rock is alluring. The band has even played with The Starting Line's Kenny at an event. The Jetsetting are the greatest additions to Pop/Rock." (- VOX POP) - Vox Pop

Bio

The Jetsetting formed in early 2007 and began working hard at their goal to become a Top 40 artist. Later that year, they recorded their "self-titled" debut EP with Producer Jesse Canon (The Cure, Saves The Day). The band successfully released it themselves and established a fan base of listeners ages 10-80!

Music Nation invited the band to compete in a contest hosted by Spin Magazine to win a record deal with Epic Records. The band shined and won first place in the nation in the very first week. They advanced to the finals, but fell short of the top prize. The band kept their heads up and continued toward their ultimate goal. The band commented on falling just short, "It's a shame we didn't win but we made some really great contacts and had our songs reviewed by legendary songwriters like Perry Farrell! Not many bands can really say that. Going this far was motivation enough to keep at it"

After a few member replacements, The Jetsetting is hard at work writing their brand new album, an album that will feature a polished, more mature sound drawing comparisons to Coldplay, The Fray, and One Republic.

The Jetsetting has since inked a development deal with an up and coming Indie Label called Spindys Records and look forward to the opportunities that will be presented to them. The bands "self-titled" EP will be reissued and released with Spindys Records summer of 2009.

This year is off to a good, productive start and with tour plans and a full length album in the works, it's proven to only get better.

The sky's the limit for this young and aspiring band. Don't be surprised to see The Jetsetting on the Top-40 list in the near future...
