Starting as a raw garage band in 2010, The Jimi Ben Band has been influenced by the 60's American Garage Scene (The Seeds, The Trashmen), the 60's British "Beat Groups" (The Kinks) and the American Punk/New Wave Scenes emerging in the mid 70's (The B52's, Devo, The Cramps).
Thanks to their high energy performances and their DIY attitude, the band quickly got noticed and was offered to support several great garage/punk/indie bands such as The Death Set, Bob Log III, The Lords of Altamont, Yuck, Civil Civic,...
In a few months (Spring 2012), the band will release "Royal Baboon", its first 7 Inch on the London based Label, Damaged Goods Records.
