Bio
In a seedy (but legendary) bar in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NYC, two very world-weary kids commisserated over the pitiful state of the world and realized something needed to be done. In the time-honored tradition of all great collaboration, they decided to form a band.
Josh Orzeck is a misunderstood genius who could channel Jim Morrison and Jacques Brel. He grew up in a musical househould amidst the records of Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee, Harry Belafonte and Stephen Sondheim.
Gabriela Amari has a kick-ass voice that recalls Janis Joplin and Billie Holiday and Pat Benatar and PJ Harvey
Though comparisons are feeble things, mention should be made of music that matters - The Beatles, Clash, Pretenders, and Janis.
