The Johnson Family Band

BandCountryBluegrass

The Johnson Family Band is a hard drinkin', fast pickin', finger-lickin' bluegress band out of Fargo North Dakota. We've been Playing Bluegrass standards and originals since we met in college.

Biography

The Johnson Family band is a bluegrass outfit from Fargo North Dakota. We play original tunes, and some of our favorite standards and Appalachian folk songs. We've all been playing for years in different genres of music, ranging from Jazz, to Pop, to Indi Rock, but all found common ground in our love of folk music. We all grew up in the Midwest, which is reflected in the music that we make. We write music about travel, dreaming of women, working hard in the day, and playing hard at night; inspired by the life we grew up with on the farm.
