The Jokers

The Jokers are from Liverpool ,UK and released their debut album The Big Rock and Roll Show in the UK in June 2009. It was mixed in canada by Mike Fraser and mastered by Bob Ludwig's Gateway mastering in USA.
Since it's release it has had a great press response in the UK, including getting 8/10 in Classic Rock magazine, 5/5 and album of the month in Powerplay, 9/10 Guitar techniques and 4/5 in guitar & bass mag, as well as loads of other great reviews.
The Jokers have also received alot of airplay in the UK, USA & Brazil. They are currently playlisted on Planet Rock (the biggest classic rock station in the uK), Total Rock, BBc radio 6 Bruce Dickenson Show, manchester & glasgow rock fm, etc... Also whilst over in the UK earlier this year Alice Cooper discovered the band and has since been playing them on his Nights with Alice Cooper radio show in New York, they are also played on 96.1FM A radio in Sau Paulo Brazil.
They have a new video and single due for release in the uK in June 2010 which will be plugged to radio and tv by lander PR and to press by Roland Hyams of work hard pr.
The band have just finished a mini tour with American band Fozzy (who featured WWE superstar Chris jericho on Vocals) they will also be touring with America's Hayseed Dixie in may and also with Hawkwind in December 2010.
The band are 100% independent and self financed, with the guitar player remortgaging his home twice aswell as taking out many loans to finance the band.
