Bio

Debut album from The Jon Eddy Band “Things That I Used To Do”, was originally conceived as a solo record in 2007 by singer/songwriter/guitarist, Jon Gerson.
After a decade as a drummer, touring with bands such as No Warning and more recently The Getaway, playing shows along side bands like Blink 182 and Less Than Jake. As well as recording albums at legendary Sunset Sound, and Ocean studios. In 2005, following the breakup of The Getaway and a shoulder injury, Jon changed his musical focus from drums to guitar. This allowed him to rekindle and embrace classic blues influences like Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King and SRV. Resulting in the blues /punk fusion sound of “Things That I Used To Do.”
The first permanent addition to The Jon Eddy Band was drummer Dean Glover, who was originally hired as a session player and upon completion of the record, officially became the second member of the band. Dean subsequently brought in friend/collaborator Chris Bell to complete the rhythm section on bass guitar. Josh Miller - classically trained jazz/blues/rock guitarist and also long time friend of Jon’s joined in 2008, thus completing The Jon Eddy Band as it is today.
Currently hailing from there hometown of Toronto ON Canada, TJEB are playing live, building a fan base and taking the show on the road.
