Direction

Written By: Josh Anderson

Well once upon a time
Life was grand
Well I had a plan
Oh but now singing I’m a man
And I’m as lost as I’ve been

Well when I look at things today
We’re all one big cliché
Well maybe we can find a way
To make amends
But we’re as lost as we’ve been

Well maybe
You can help me find my way
Well maybe
You can help me find my way

Lack of substance is replaced with rage
Especially at an early age
Well maybe we can find a way to begin
But we're as lost as we've been

Well maybe
You can help me find my way
Well maybe
You can help me find my way

Woe Is Me

Written By: Josh Anderson

I woke up alone
On the floor
I woke up alone
And I walked to the door
I hit the street
In the blistering heat
I woke up alone
I woke up alone

Whoa is me
Whoa is me

When I dream
It always nightmares
It never sweet
It’s so unfair
Happiness you know I can’t fake
So I dream
I dream while I’m awake
I dream while I’m awake

Whoa is me
Whoa is me

Well I’m burned out and I’m depressed
Oh my life it seems like such a mess
Although I know that I must confess
That I contribute to the stress

Whoa is me
Whoa is me

Simplest Things

Written By: Josh Anderson

Goin' out on my own
Leavin' everything I know
And I don't know if I can hold on
But I just gotta go

The simplest things can be so hard
When you don't know where you are
But you know that you've come so far

And he says you're chasin' an empty dream
Take it from me boy I know what I mean
But he's that kind of man
Who knows what he means
About everything

Oh oh
Honey take it slow
And oh don't you know
It's alright

Goin' out on my own
Leavin' everything I know
And I don't know if I can hold on
But I just gotta go
Sometimes you just gotta go

One Day at a Time

Written By: Josh Anderson

A lot of tragic things in the world today
But ya know it's always been that way
Just try to do right

Try to keep your head up don't miss the signs
While your add it enjoy the ride
We could talk all night

Take it one day at a time

I don't have to save the world you see
All I gotta do is make my peace
With the ones around me

Don't ya know I've heard them say
It's not the destination but the journey anyway
This thing called life

Take it one day at a time

Don't ya know I've hear them say
What you got you gotta appreciate
It ain't no lie

Take it one day at a time

25 Song

Written By: Josh Anderson

It's been so long
But I think that winter's gone
So I'll move on
April reminds me of fresco skies
And I'm alive
Sometimes think I'm more afraid of life
Than I am to die
Don't you remember there was a time
Oh when I

I was just where I wanted
Just where I wanted
Just where I wanted

Misery
Too many cigarettes not enough sleep
Well it's killin' me
Just want to get back to that place where I
Just want to be

Just where I wanted
Just where I wanted
Just where I wanted
To be

It's up to me
I'm in control of my own destiny
Well that's all I should see
Got a surprise
The day that I thought would never arrive
And I realized

I was just where I wanted
Just where I wanted
Just where I wanted
To be
