Josh Craig Live at Black Flag Shoppe. This is so awesome. Shout out to Melo Mel with the recording. It sounds like an old Jimi session! - 8raviolibags

As I mentioned before J Craig is a smooth mc from New Jersey. One thing in particular that impresses me about his style is that he can deliver that good hip hop with out ever having to recite any written material. In his most recent track “What You Live For”, this features Ceaze, his part is strictly freestyle. Click the link to listen. - Vigorous

We had a chance to catch up with Josh Craig while skating around Hoboken. Josh is a young up and comer with a distinct emcees voice ready to be heard on a larger platform. With his new mixtape, ”No Manager No Problem”, right around the corner you will get to know him a lot better. Our besty above the resty Sheena She at Chainsaws & Jelly asked us to get some shots of Josh for her Muse of the Month. Its the first time a dude is getting the spot and Josh is the mister who deserves it.

This August edition is a very special one! It's a creative collaboration with our great friends over at Mr. Gif! The raddest dudes I know. Thank you so much!

From the first time I met, Josh Craig, he has been one of my favorites. A very talented emcee and skateboarder from New Jersey. He is THE Jimi Hendrix of hip hop. Make sure to peep into http://thecraigsworld.blogspot.com/. His mixtape "No Manager No Problem" will be dropping soon. Keep them ears and eyes open!

The Josh Craig is out to prove a point with this new project. Who needs a manager? He doesn’t. Check out the compilation, filled with funk samples and solid bars.

On Thursday I stopped by Black Flag Shoppe to pick up some tees and the homie Omar told me to pass thru later that night for Josh Craig’s album listening party, I’ve seen the guy before and maybe met him (horrible memory) but didn’t remember too well if he did music and what kind. After I put Lil Giant to bed I headed over there with Portishead blasting for a few and came back with some new music to crank up and a great experience from a new artist. Josh Craig was celebrating his second album release “No Manager?.?.?. No Problem?!?!?!” and had a live band with him there performing some of the tracks. It was a packed house in BFS and felt like we were in an oven… but we didn’t care, everyone was enjoying themselves yelling and rhyming along with Craig, overall it was a great first impression of his music. The music was live and that band he had was too dope so obvious my interest went up after a short while of that live Hip-Hop and I decided to purchase the phisycal album.
The album is call “No Manager?.?.?. No Problem?!?!?!” and he’s literally doing it all without that, it’s great to see folks living thru what they craft and seeing it come alive. I thoroughly enjoyed what I heard and wish I can get a recording of that live set, it had a great combination of Hip-Hop, Rock, and a slight Jazz touch. The music was fun and never took itself too serious from what I heard and it’s something that set the mood of everyone there. I’m usually very quiet when in these sessions just so I can hear, observe the artist and how everyone reacts to the music and I got a great vibe from all that was there while the homie O stood on top of a table with a beer yelling haha. Once again another testament to folks uniting and doing what they do while having fun and everyone enjoyed themselves.

The music was good live, now I gotta give the album a few spins and let you guys know what I think in the next few days. For now lend Josh Craig your ears for a few and make that move. - WGMeets

Here are a few pictures from yesterdays photoshoot session with Josh Craig, a young talented Jersey native. The clip showcase his talent in the purest of form, he has a long way ahead of him and he's only going to get better. Get familiar now because I see this guy doing big things in the future. Make sure to check out his blog at TheCraigsWorld and follow him on twitter @TheJoshCraig.

Hello everyone. In the “Just a Tip” segment I talk about things going on in my community, local events, or just a random opinion piece. This week I’d like to put my friend and very talented artist Josh Craig (aka The Josh Craig) in the spotlight. Josh doesn’t tie himself down to any musical genres. Josh dabbles anywhere from rock to hip-hop to choir and anything else in between. Just like tipstir aims to discover interesting places to dine, similarly, Josh Craig is a feast for the ears. His music may sound different to what you’re accustomed to but, that’s a good thing, a refreshing thing. It would seem Josh doesn’t sleep (follow him on twitter). When he’s not skating, designing clothing, at photo shoots, or writing new music, he’s in the booth. There are multiple shows lined up every week. Head over to The Craig’s World for the schedule. Check tipstir soon for Craig as a special guest at his favorite place! - tipstir

J. Craig dedicates the first single off his new mixtape No Manager, No Problem to his Bambu crew. We haven’t gotten word on when the tape is dropping, but we’ll be sure to let you guys know. - gardenstatehiphop

Josh Craig is a local hiphop artist with tons of talent. He took me out with him to Passaic where he currently lives. We chilled at PS11 and it felt like the 90s up there… Mad kids actually playing stick ball, skating, and just hanging out like we used to when we were kids. Check out Josh Craig’s blogspot http://thecraigsworld.blogspot.com/ and stayed tuned for his latest mixtape dropping soon No Manager No Problem. - Mister Lee

Latest from a newcomer to the site, J. Craig releases this video of a track that's off his upcoming mixtape titled "No Managers No Problem." The way the industry is nowadays, I would think that's the way to do it. But what do I know? Haha. Check it. - OC Supreme

Discography

The first single I released was "973 (Hometown Kid)" off of my debut mixtape "Join Craig Or Die!!!" which was released in February 2011. It was featured on numerous college radio shows and mixtapes around the tri-state area.
My second single "BAMBU (My Crew)" off my second mixtape "No Manager No Problem" was released in August 2011. It's getting a lot of good feedback and is receiving honors from websites, blogs, clothing lines, skate teams, magazines, mixtapes, podcast's and radio stations around the country.
