"Dirty Clubs & Gritty Demos, Vol.6 - Introducing The Jukebox Romantics"

The Jukebox Romantics’ set began around 11pm following a hip hop act that pumped up the crowd. Their guitars reverberated in the bar and kids migrated to the front of the stage. Their songs were a pop punk that seems to be slowly disappearing, heavy on the punk not the pop. In the tradition of The Bouncing Souls and Operation Ivy their songs urged their audience to have a good time and the music incited them to dance. Their performance was tight, energetic, and full of heart. - My Crazy Music Blog

"The Jukebox Romantics"

One of the great things about Warped Tour is the way they plow so many bands together into one day, that if you make an effort to catch some bands you've never heard of you might just discover something great. Such was the case this year for the people lucky enough to catch The Jukebox Romantics. This east coast punk band has a terrific raw feel to their live show that has been extremely well captured by their diy styled videos - Blind Carrot Magazine

Bio

"The Jukebox Romantics are 5 certifiable and usually belligerent punk rockers from southern NY. Since releasing their debut album on Altercation Records in 2009, the Jukebox Romantics have taken their talked-about live show from coast to coast including a multi-week string of dates on the Vans Warped Tour in the summer of 2010. With a genre-hopping approach to their sound, the Jukebox Romantics channel their influences of bands like The Clash, Bouncing Souls, and One Man Army through personal song writing and their ability and eagerness to be absorbed by their audiences. After wrapping their debut at The Fest 9 and Philadelphia's first FM Festival, The Jukebox Romantics will be entering the studio at the close of the year to record their second full length to be released in the late spring of 2011.
