The Junebug

What if you woke up one day and looked like everyone else, walked the same path as your neighbor, worked at the same job for 30 years, traveled the same roads every day, wore the same uniform everyday…WHAT IF??

It is this driving theme that has fueled Junebug for the better part of his career as a musician. “My father worked as a factory worked all my life – and still works in a factory today.” Says Junebug. Waking up each day I feel drawn to something different, there is something inside of me screaming – but if screams in the form of lyrics and melodies. As a child “my mother would throw on the stereo and clean the house as I listened from my room – she brought music into my life daily which grew my passion”. My calling is not to be just another “Joe..I want to inspire, I want to fuel the pursuit of happiness in other’s lives – music does that – and I do music.”

For the better part of the last 20+ years, Junebug has put hard work, dedication and his soul into entertaining people with his writing, singing, and playing live shows. With 3 albums and 2 DVD's to his credit, Junebug has coined the phrase “grind it out” as a full time musician.

With his main goal of promoting his own songs and music, Junebug’s biggest desire is to reach the highest level that he can achieve within the rock music world.

Inspired by the few that have chosen to follow a path of music greatness, Junebug sees inspiration in those that have come before him citing influences by The Black Crowes, The Who, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, George Jones, Gary Allen, Van Morrison, Janice Joplin, James Brown, Wet Willie, Dr.Hook, Kings Of Leon, Pop Evil, Puddle Of Mudd, Matchbox 20, and Johnny Cash

Rock-n-Roll without purpose and not giving back is empty, thus the reason that even with his busy career as a musician, Junebug still finds the time to “give back” as he travels down his road to stardom. Working with national organizations such as the “Battered Woman’s and Children’s Fund”, “Make a Wish Foundation” and many local charities as well.

2010 is the breakout year for Junebug with plans releasing a new record, touring, and all around good “Rock-N-Rolling”.
