The Junktones

The Junktones are a true Rock'n'Roll Punkband founded in August of 2006. Playing shows for as many fans as possible is the main goal of the band because this is what Rock'n'Roll is all about: Live music!
The raw sound and energy you see on stage has been transported to a rare release 10 track album called "Get Drunk,Or Pass Out Trying",that has long since been sold or promoted out .
Don't expect any gimmicks or tricks from The Junktones. Loud, simple and fun music is all you are going to get, live and on cd.By October of 2007, The Junktones had played close to 70 live shows and recorded their second full length CD, and first official release titled "Your Boyfriend's an Asshole," featuring 14 new and re-recorded tracks. Expect funny lyrics and a good grove with Rock'n'Roll added on top. The perfect mix for a fun listen. The CD was released in April of 2008 as a self produced Album with the help of our friend and Roadie Dan "Z" Zatorski.
With the unfortunate absence of Tony Baloney shortly after the release of "Your Boyfriends An Asshole",the development of the band came to a stop and we had to regroup to keep everything moving. Getting a substitute guitarist and singer was a tough assignment, but we found a great replacement.Enter, Sean "E" Cash! After Tony's unexpected return in the fall of 2008, we unanamously decided to keep him in the band as a new found friend and lead guitarist/singer.When Tony returned in 2009,it then became official, making The Junktones the 4-piece that they are today! The days as a trio are over! The Junktones continue with 4 people and even more power and even more Rock'n'Roll than you can handle!

The Junktones love nothing more than playing live shows. They have played their style of Punk Rock'n'Roll to many different types of fans and have played with bands from nearly every genre of rock. Their entertaining and energetic live performances have managed to even grab the attention of people who are not into Punkrock at all. They always put 110% into the live show to make sure no one ever leaves disappointed and will continue to do so for the rest of their existence, because Rock'n'Roll is all about the live experience.
