Bio

The Jupiter Complex began in April 2005 with singer Tim Freitag and guitarist Eric Wagner after their departure from a local acoustic band. Starting out with just vocals and a guitar, Tim and Eric soon enlisted the help of guitarist Josh DiCarlo, a music major from Webster University who had previously worked with Tim. Josh fell right into place, and the new addition invigorated the sound of the band, bringing new life to their performance and songwriting. Later that year, Eric switched to bass and Tim picked up the guitar to add a new layer to the sound of the Jupiter Complex. The lineup was finally completed in February of 2006 with the addition of Josh's brother-in-law Nick Connors on drums. Once again, the new addition incited a wave of excitement into all of the members of the band as their catalogue of existing songs took on new life and new songs were added by the handful. With the members finally in place for the songs to reach their full potential, the Jupiter Complex hits the stage with the power of four independently talented musicians/songwriters who come together to make something more than the sum of their parts. With the influences of each band member ranging from classic rock to grunge to alternative rock to improvisational jazz, the Jupiter Complex has become a band that you don't want to miss.
