Bio
The Keeling Curve is a melodic pop-folk band that is on the brink of rocking out. The musical influences and roots of its band members range from dirty blues, sweaty samba to Balkan folk music. These styles have been shaken up and blended into bitter pop tunes, cutting ditties and power-folk ballads.
The band is based in Oxfordshire and brought together through the love of music and their work with environmental issues. There are six band members playing both plugged-in and acoustic instruments creating a soundscape of many layers and often haunting harmonies.
Until now, The KC have often performed in Oxford and have also been known to venture out to local music venues and festivals such as the Wallingford Bunkfest, Wittfest and the Cowley Road Carnival.
