The K.I.D.

I was born in Seattle and Raised in Federal Way. I stared writing back in 2009, and started recording and distributing this year (2011). My involvement in music began with Jazz and playing the saxophone then my interests spread into writing lyrics. I have five major influences in music those being; Walter Beasley, Wale, Macklemore, Blue Scholars, and Drake. What makes me different is how I mix my style together, I can write and rap on a vast genre of music ranging from the standard
8-0-8 drum kits, to the older 90's hip hop beats, jazzy beats, and furthermore even dubstep. I don't tend to glorify partying or drug usage however I do rap about them when necessary as part of my story. My story is one of a kid from Seattle who was born fortunate, but isn't where he wants to be in life yet. I'm telling the story of all my past experiences and mistakes, and my current ambitions and dreams. I also talk about the major and minor social issues I've come to realize now days mainly within my state, but also nationally, and internationally.
