A one-man music machine, Dawun J first left his mark on the city in 2011, with his single “Gotta Lotta Money” from his then upcoming mixtape, “Supper Tyme”. Drawing the attention of several local record labels the wheels were set in motion. A self-taught musician from the age of 7, Dawun J’s gift was evident early on. Not only does he spit crazy 16s, he writes, produces and plays piano. [“He’s very talented and his gift cannot be denied.”-Dale Godboldo actor/director] In late 2015 Dawun J partnered with Bell Group Music to bring us the masterpiece we know as, “Supper Tyme” which was released in January 2016 and includes such hits as, “Ain’t Me”, “Ball Boy” and “Ass Like That”. His hot new single, “I Just Want to Make Some Money” has garnered major industry buzz, local radio play at K104 FM, Exotic Airlines Radio and his own station on iHeart Radio. Dawun J will be featured on the Coast2Coast LIVE mixtape artist showcase in Dallas, TX 2016. Dawun J’s music is available on iTunes and everywhere music is sold online.
