The Kid Hater

The Kid Hater was conceived from love by Truman Newman Sr. and Gladys McGhee in Newport News, V.A on May 7, 1982. The Kid Hater is “Destined for Greatness”. The Kid Hater moved to HATER LAND. (A small section named by “The Kid Hater” in Roxboro N.C), where he found hip –hop in his sister’s black boom box. Inspired by cassette tapes of artists such as Heltah Skeltah, Nas, Rakim, Smif-N-Wesson, Public Enemy, Slick Rick, Big L, and list goes on. The Kid Hater began writing at early age. In 2003, The Hate Nation began the formal movement “THE HATE CAMPAIGN” on 102 Jamz in Greensboro, North Carolina. This campaign led to a segment on “The Wild Out Wake Up Show” every Tuesday morning called “The Hate Report” and co-host duties with Cease-Fire on AOG’s mix tape, Title “I HATE AOG’S”. For a year and half “The Kid Hater” consistently dazzled the masses with his blue collar stories, and his on point punch lines and the ability to hold the people on the edge of their seats with his wit and controversial topics. Nevertheless, what makes you great also defines your fate. In 2009, “The Hate Report”, 102 Jamz ended the segment. With no outlet for his thoughts “The Kid” turned to his 1st love for help. This love has led to three “HATE” approved mix tapes. (Title: “Soundtrack to the Recession”, “Destined for Greatness”, and “The Hate Report”), appearances on Cellamix Studios Volume 2 and Volume 3 mix tapes, Clint Easthoods “Dirty Harry Mix tape” and countless others. In order to achieve success, one endures HATE and The Kid Hater is proof! Motivated by “Hate”, The Kid Hater is staking his claim as The People’s Champ.
