"The Musical Box (France)"

"...Les guitares sont denses et puissantes, la section rythmique est bondissante et syncopée. Mais surtout The Koniac Net se distingue par le chant lumineux et émouvant de David, qui révèle une fragilité poignante au sein de belles harmonies vocales." - Bertrand Zistor (August 22, 2014)

"Emerging Indie Bands (England, U.K.)"

"A kaleidoscope of colours reflect across the walls as The Koniac Net deliver measured and retrospective mellowing moods of sound... The Koniac Net have mastered the art of delivering music which has a gentle timbre, while simultaneously adding sufficient seasoning to serve up an intriguing blend of sounds to keep the listener engaged and wanting to come back for a second helping." - Tim Whale (August 14, 2014)

"Find A Song Blog (Germany)"

"...As for the music of the Mumbai-based five-piece, it is the kind that gently pours itself into your ears and almost imperceptibly hooks up in your brain in such a way that the second listen already feels like coming back to good old companions. Which is of course a very clever way of transporting the lyrics that are deep and, despite the overall more positive outlook of the EP, often sombre." - Steffi Fixemer (May 26, 2014)

"House In The Sand Blog (Germany)"

"If you listen to their [the Koniac Net] music you will soon realize how clever the compositions are, how well thought every chords is and how the band just sounds brilliant together." - Vanessa Jertschewske (May 14, 2014)

"Forkster Rocks (United Kingdom)"

"The Koniac Net are a really good definition of a confidently rocking alternative/indie rock band! This tightly knitted band really bring fantastic rock rhythms with a grooving edge and melodic drive and feel!" - Timothy John Forker (April 5, 2014)

"Global Onslaught (United Kingdom)"

"...I really hope when I hear more from other artists in that region they are half as talented as David Abraham. This EP is a labour of love, a thing of beauty and a triumph. I cannot fault it other than there should be more tracks and called an album." - Adam Hayward (March 20, 2014)

"GQ Magazine"

“... He pours a golden glow over despondent words, giving each song a split personality...” - Aditya Kundalkar (June 6, 2013)

"Niji Magazine (United Kingdom)"

"... this is a crafted body of work, worthy of many a listen" - Kevin Bonfield (May 25, 2013)

"Words For Music (United Kingdom)"

"As an album ‘One Last Monsoon’ has a bit of everything, showing diversity and variances in every song - Words For Music (May 13, 2013)

"Musical-Things (United Kingdom)"

"The Koniac Net have perfected good music with their faultless combination of amazing vocals, catchy (but not simplistic) rhythm and easy on the ear harmony. Listening through each track on the album, you cannot help but fall in love with front man David Abraham’s flawless voice as it completes every track with its hypnotic loveliness." - Hadiya M. (May 10, 2013)

"U&I Music Magazine (Ireland) full album review"

"The only thing to find fault with it [referring to the last song on the album] is in the fact that it signals the end of a truly inspired album that takes your breath away when you listen to it." - Phillip Joseph Ó'Baoighealláin (February 2013)

"Wordkrapht (South Carolina, U.S.)"

"One Last Monsoon is an album full of catchy, earthy, mellow mixes with songs of life and struggle. There is calm throughout this album that allows you to sit back and become wrapped in the music as the world around you simply disappears." - Chris Axe (January 04, 2013)

Bio

Spawning all the way from Bombay (India), the debut album, "One Last Monsoon," was written & performed entirely by songwriter David Abraham, and primarily recorded in his bedroom - an apt environment for an album that plays like a love letter to the Indie & Alternative genres, and the artists/bands that allow these genres to thrive.

The Koniac Net has been compared to artists such as the Stills, Smashing Pumpkins, Toadies, Death Cab For Cutie, Matt Pond PA, Marcy Playground, and even Chris Isaac & the Deftones. The band's music pays tribute to the genres these artists represent.

Upon receiving numerous requests to tour internationally, the Koniac Net transformed from a one-man-project to a 5-piece band in June of 2012.

In February of 2014, the band released their 1st Ep, “Abiogenesis,” in which all 5 members contributed to the writing process.

Songs from both, album & EP, have gained airplay on over 140 radio stations across 31 countries.
