The Koo-koo´s: The band that everybody loves!

One winter day at 2004 Lollipop and Exploseve, who worked together at the time, said, "Lets start a pop band!". And so they did.

The first song “On the telly” was a hit, but Lollipop and Exploseve realized that it would probably sound even better including bass, keyboard and maybe even a second guitar. They were lucky. On the dance floor Exploseve found Le Palm. It was the perfect match. At the same time at a birthday party Lollipop found Poppawemma.

The Koo-Koo’s made some really great pop songs, but the need for a second guitar-player felt urgent. And then, one rainy autumn night at 2004, came the knight in shiny armour they all been waiting for. It was Cookie. She was wonderful.

From these five girls came a couple of great power pop songs. For example: “Nightlife”, “Dance floor”, “Sweet” and “Je t’aime”. Everyone loved the Koo-Koo’s.

But then, in April 2006 Poppawemma dropped the bomb. The other girls wanted to cry when she suddenly said, "I feel it would be better if we were just friends"

But the Koo-Koo’s are just so full of love that nothing can break them down. Instead of crying for the loss of Poppawemma, they made a song, and it was great. It didn’t take long for the band to find another bass player. Tootsie was a fan and when she heard the news, she joined the band at once!

In October 2006 the band recorded 4 songs featured on the Nightlife EP. The band also made a video produced by Ingrid Fridesjö at Tonteknik Recording. The video made it during the spring of 2007 to #3 at the chart "Grand Prix" at national Swedish television!
