"A Kung Fu Girls Review"

"Cute, happy, lollipops and rainbows are words that can describe The Kung Fu Girls. They have the ability to write lyrics that can make you smile, think and leave you wanting for more. With powerful lyrics and great guitar skills, The Kung Fu Girls delivered an electrifying acoustic performance during the interview at The G-Spot with Girard. Mia's angelic voice mixed with punk rock is great a combination, then mix in Ava's guitar skills and you get an awesome euphoric Kung Fu Girls music."

Bio

The Kung Fu Girls are a Pop rock band based out of Long Island, NY. The band is made up of two sisters... Mia and Ava. Mia is 19 Years old and Ava is 21. The girls are more than just a band. They are also producers and song writers. Mia wrote the band "Plain White T's" single “Our Time Now” and “Gimme a Chance” off of their Multi Platinum Grammy Nominated Record “Every Second Counts”. The song “Our Time Now” was the Theme song for ABC Family’s “Greek” and also appeared on Rock Band 2, Sims 2, Wii Cheer, The Hills, Dr. 90210, TOOL Academy, Bam Margeras: Unholy Union, American Idol, Canadian Idol, and other media outlets. "Our Time Now" is the third American single from the Plain White T's from their album Every Second Counts. It was shipped to Pop Radio on November 6, 2007. It peaked at #90 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #29 on US Modern Rock charts. The song was featured during a montage of people getting approved to go to Hollywood during American Idol on January 29th 2008. The promo caused the song to jump 20 spots on iTunes from 75 to 55 overnight. It was used in some commercials/trailers for the first season of the ABC Family show Greek, and is performed by the band (along with "Hey There Delilah") in the episode "The Rusty Nail". This song was also performed on the 11th episode (iRue the Day) of the first season on Nickelodeon's iCarly. It was also featured (along with "You and Me") in the Disney Channel Original Movie Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board and a Norwegian commercial for As the Bell Rings. The track was recorded in Simlish for The Sims 2: Teen Style stuff pack. The song was used in The Ultimate Band Trailer. The girls also cowrote/produced the band "Airdate" who have had songs on "Tool Academy" and "The Hills". Airdate's single "Walking Alone" written and produced by Mia and Ava was also featured on radio station 94.3's WMJC.
Mia is currently cowriting/producing upcoming recording artist Annabel Sharahy's new record. Enough about other artists though...what about us? What about The Kung Fu Girls? Why choose to work with us?
1. We are extremely talented, and already have written a single on a Multi-Platinum Grammy Nominated Artists Record. How often can you find bands that can actually write good songs these days?
2. We toured independently for 2 years across America and back multiple times and then were added to APA's roster working with Craig Newman putting us on tour with bands like Plain White T's, Mae, The Frantic, and Treaty of Paris. During this time we sold over 2,000 units of our first record "Thinking of You" independently.
3. We just recorded a new 12 song full length self-produced album "Love Sick" which we need someone to release...

4. We have stage presence, charisma, and the drive to become the next musical revolution.

5. We are willing to do whatever it takes to become pop super stars.

6. We guarantee success, happiness, and lots of money coming your way if you work with us!

So in conclusion...We are creative, awesome, talented, cute, funny, charismatic, and GREAT live! Will you take part in helping us take our careers to the next level?
