Bio
Joshua Taylor on bass and vocals, and Ethan Sawyer on lead guitar met in March of 2012 as a high-school sophomore and freshman respectively. Due to the age difference they didnt quite know one another outside of being musicians, but in April they started hanging out with each other more often and found a connection in their passions, dedication and taste in music. By the time July came around they had been playing and writing unofficially as a duo for months. One stormy 4th of July Josh began writing the debut song, Human, he found himself unable to finish it. After sitting in silence for a while he was interrupted by a phone call, it was Ethan of course, helplessly he asked for his assistance and from that day forth it was set in stone to be a regular thing. Their new group was known at that time as The Troubadours. Where they collaborated to create a sound blending 60s rock guitar with contemporary vocal melodies and lyrics, something that had yet to be heard, and they began gigging at small bars and VFWs around their town. By the next school year they accepted Ben Longo on drums as the third and final member in November 2012 and completed their first album The Space Between as The Labor Days in March of 2013. As all of their abilities grow so does their sound. They continue to merge classical and contemporary rock on their upcoming EP Out Of Reach, planned to be released in January of 2014.
