ABOUT US

The Windy City of Chicago breeds some of the best live performance groups and one of the top groups is none other than "The Lakeside Band!"

This eclectic group performs in various genres including: pop, soul, r&b, funk, motown, country, and smooth jazz with music from the 70s-to-current. The core group is a six piece ensemble with guitar, bass, keyboard and drums. The group can bring lead singers and background to give a full sound of harmony. Upon request, the band can also expand to include saxophone, trumpet, trombone or anything else to give that added sound you desire to hear!

In music, it's more about quality over quantity. That is why we have handpicked some of best in the business! Each professional musician and vocalist have decades of experience from gigging and touring (nationally and internationally) under their belt that has allowed them to gain a lot of musical wisdom - in which you will find very useful. Members of our team have worked with some great and famous artist! 

The keyboardist and Director of Music for the Lakeside Band, Gary D. Gary is well-known throughout the gospel circuit and has decades of experience being a Music Director, producer and musician. He has soaked in enough knowledge and experience by touring with well-known recording artists such as: Tony Tone Toni and gospel artists, Fred Hammond, PJ Morton, and Marvin Sapp. As Music Director, keyboardist and one of the lead singers, Gary makes a great MC. He will have the guest laughing and full of joy, engaged in the party and dancing the whole time.

We are proud to mention our singers' accomplishments. Lakeside has recording artist, Jocelyn Buchanan who was best acknowledged on-air by Oprah Winfrey for her talented voice during a singing competition at Oprah's Christmas party. Ieisha Brown is a multi-talented singer, actress and winner of the 2015 Chicago Budweiser singing contest. Each musician has been formally trained and/or gained at least 20years of experience to build their craft. We can learn songs either by reading the music or by ear. Each performer will captivate you either with their stage presence, vocal range and/or ability to get the guest to have fun by participating right along with them!  Armed with the vocal ranges, eclectic taste, musical talent, on-stage presence, the Lakeside Band will be the perfect fit for your venue!

If you desire to have a even fuller sound - we can arrange it. KraveLive Music Entertainment, has a good roster of musicians and connections to pull if you decide you want to go even bigger - to as far as an orchestra. We have band leaders that can coordinate it and customize it they way you want!
