THESE ARENT LIES
With only two songs in their pockets The La La Lies are catapulted into 1.2 million Dutch living rooms at the end of 2009. For one hot minute the audience is able to behold the future of rock & roll and the crowd and fellow guests remain speechless after their rousing performance. The national music magazine OOR labels them one of the best new Dutch acts around.
2010 is dedicated to rocking their socks off in numerous venues and at various festivals, including the Popronde, Melkweg, Paradiso, de-Affaire, Vera, Hedon, Bevrijdingsfestival Amsterdam and the Uitmarkt. 3FM Radio invites them to play on national radio and DJ Sander Guis declares himself fan. This band deserves to become a 3FM Serious Talent! Meanwhile the band joins the impressive artist roster of booking agency Friendly Fire.
After having proved themselves as a live act the time has come to start recording their debut album under the watchful eye of renowned Dutch producer Huub Reijnders in Amsterdam and Mechelen in 2011.
Early 2012 the band signs to record label REMusic Records. According to REMusic manager Ron Engelen The La La Lies are a great addition to our roster, with DeWolff and Voodoo Boogie as succesful predecessors. Their music is very much influenced by the 60s and 70s but still sounds very contemporary. Were aiming across the Dutch borders with these guys.
Their debut album will be released this fall and afterwards the band will hit the road again to tour the country. As an appetizer their first single will be released in June. Check out The La La Lies everywhere and feel the good vibe of genuine rock n roll!
