The Last Days formed in 2001 in the Artistic community of New Hope, PA. Singer/Guitarist Matthew Venella and Guitarist/Songwriter Greg Gatti met by chance and soon became roomates writing songs each and every day to fulfill the musical aspirations. Realizing they had a great chemistry writing songs together they recruited local drummer Steve Ackerman and bassit Pat Giordano and started rehearsals. Within 4 months they were playing live shows and packing the house at locals clubs in and around Philadelphia. Going into the studio with Claude Coleman from "WEEN" and Engineer/Producer Jim Sweeney (Creeper Lagoon, Glasstown) they set out to make their debut CD "like when we were kids." The sessions took 4 months to complete at Claude Colemans home studio where many "Ween" albums have been recorded and the result is simply an amazing breath taking record. The band has recently relocated to Los Angeles to shop the album to record labels and tour the west coast.
