"The Last Few has been generating buzz from their recent live gigs and their single - 'Come With Me'" - The Resorter Reporter
The Last Few is steadily making its way out of "high school band" and into the music business. Seniors Chuckie Brwon (drums), Jerry Ford (gutars/vocals), and Luke Peters (guitars/vocals) make up this young, punk rock band. Their influences include Blink 182, Green Day, Sum 41, and other punk, rock, and alternative bands. With the band members set, The Last Few began expanding thier fan base. Their Illinois tour last summer included stops in El Paso (near Bloomington) and Caseyville (near St. Louis). They have also performed in cities throughout Wisconsin including Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Door County, Stoughton, Stevens Point, Mt. Horeb, Oregon, and Ashwaubenon. Their song "Come With Me," will be their first song to see radio play and can be heard on WUSM 91.7 in Madison, WWSP 89.9 in Stevens Point, and WUWM 89.7 in Milwaukee. We are The Last Few From Madison, WI. We play pop punk music focused on guitar hooks and catchy vocal melodies. We have been a band since 2006 and in that time have played over 35 shows in Wisconsin and Illinois including a show at Madison's Brat Fest and a show at Milwaukee's The Rave. This has allowed us to develop a dedicated fan base in Wisconsin. Also our single "Come With Me" was released in January of 2008 and since then has received airplay on 5 Wisconsin and Illinois radio stations. Our influences include: Blink-182, Weezer, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Cartel, All-American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, and Say Anything.
