Influences are hard. We have a one metal/rockgod guitarist, a funk bass player, a rock drummer, Winchester Cathedrals finest Voice and keyboard of the last 20 years, a Beatles obsessed rhythm guitarist and a runaway Princess (true) Hendrixesque Lead guitarist. Our influences are totally across the board, ranging from The Beatles to The Chilis, Jimi to Blondie, Van Morrison to Van Halen, the Stone Roses to The Stone Age Temple Pilots, Nina Simone to Isaac Hayes for Southpark and of course, a twillion others.
Our story is that the 'three' core have been together for 4 years, then a break came when Jo (singer) sodded off to Scotland. The two of three wandered, then, picked out a third fourth and fifth member and got noticed enough to star in a film that was released in the UK and Europe called RABBIT FEVER ( where they played the controversial band called 'THUMPER'. Anyway, we got to write and perform the lead title track, picked up a Platinum, shot a music video; and basically made film nirvana for ten minutes or so up and down Europe. Not in Europe but New York, a promoter spotted us and put us up in the Hotel Chelsea (sid vicious et co. notoriety) and fixed us three gigs late Feb 2007. We toured for the week, played a couple of packed venues and smiled all the way home where we now have a industry showcase scheduled for MAY 11th at The Water Rats Theatre in olde London Town.
Our story is that. We're The Last Grand. Something is coming...
