The Last Grand

The Last Grand

BandPopRock

A lot of Pink Floyd, a, little Coldplay, throw in some of the Clash, the Beatles, Muse and Metallica and you might be getting closer to our sound.

Biography

The Last Grand sounds like a fizzy, electrical storm, full of beautiful melodies, souring guitar lines and poignant, heartfelt lyrics. After signing a Publishing deal with Respect Music, we got picked up by Greg Haver who produced The Manic Street Preachers, The Lost Prophets and Catatonia amongst others. After a week in the Cotswolds, we left with a six track EP which has found it's way into the hands of national radio in the uk. Airplay guaranteed starting mid April. We've had music on PS2 games (Indianapolis 500), starred in a BritFlick Movie called 'Rabbitfever' in 2008 in which we played the fictitious band 'Thumper,' and have our first single out on Digital release on May 3rd 2010.
Influences range far and wide from The Beatles to Metallica, Pearl Jam to Coldplay to Jefferson Airplane Crosby Stills and Nash, Muse, Crowded House, AC/DC.
