The Last Vegas

The Last Vegas

Hard rock reigns in Chicago.

Straight out of downtown Chicago USA, The Last Vegas bring sweaty, blue-collar swagger back to the stage. Loud, aggresive, tight.

"One of the most exciting bands circulating around the city"..."The Last Vegas stands out as a metal/rock/heavy band as raw as it is polished--a record worth owning, and a band worth seeing." (Dave Chamberlain - New City Chicago)

Influenced by guitar heroics, hard rock, metal, trash, garage, glam and the blues (early-Aerosmith, G'N'R, Blue Cheer, Motorhead, ZZ Top, Soundgarden), The Last Vegas have ammassed a cult following of punks, rockers, stoners, hippies and various youth degenerates.

The Last Vegas released their Get Hip Records debut album, "Lick'Em and Leave'Em" (Jan. 2004) to critical favor, criss-crossing the United States, Canada and Mexico logging 150+ shows. The Last Vegas spent time supporting artists such as The Cynics, Urge Overkill and Bad Wizard.

In Fall 2004, The Last Vegas released a split 7" single on Italy's Scarey Records, met again to praise in Europe and USA.

"These tracks have a dangerous feel to them, life on the edge. This record is one of the best singles put out this year" (

2005 began with The Last Vegas headlining a European tour (February) throughout Spain, Italy, Austria, France, Germany and Denmark, extending the reputation as a high-energy, all out rock outfit.

In fall 2005 The Last Vegas will release their follow-up album on Get Hip Records. Pre-order it now suckers.
