The Lazy Suns features a group of well known faces and names among the capital region's music scene.

Marc has performed at such venues from the infamous CBGB's in NYC to the Holy Church of country music, The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville,TN where Marc resided for 5 years rubbing elbows with everyone from Rodney Crowell to Porter Wagner. Marc also credits one of his mentors he met and worked with in Nashville for helping him to sharpen up his writing, "Henry Gross" who wrote "Shannon", a song written about the passing of Beach Boy Carl Wilson's Irish Setter of the same name went gold and became a worldwide hit.

Marc's entrance into the music industry came upon signing with Perry Margouleff''s PIE RECORDS in the mid 90's which helped launch Marc's long term career that still finds him writing and performing new material, producing records, and helping to develop new singer-songwriters along the way.

Within the last 2 years Marc was co-founder/singer-songwriter/producer of another well known area band, "Tern Rounders" whose 2010 album release which was produced, recorded, mixed, and features original songs & artwork by Marc, received 6 mentions with top honors by local music critics. The fall of 2010 brought in the season of change, as Marc parted ways with "Tern Rounders", and launched "The Lazy Suns" with co-collaborator Rick Morse also of "Tern Rounders" whom Marc also joins in the groups, The Doubleknots and The Red Hair Strangers.

Rick Morse: Pedal Steel, Slide Guitar, and Dobro - "Have Steel Will Travel"Rick has been performing with bands around the Capital District and beyond including New York City since the mid 70's. He has been particularly drawn to bands that play a mix of original and cover music focusing on where country meets rock. Rick first started playing steel with Badge the legendary kings of "North Country Rock". Badge (1975-1985) traveled throughout the Northeast playing clubs, concert halls and honky tonks. Badge opened for numerous national acts including the New Riders, Commander Cody and The Lost Planet Airmen, Pure Prairie League, Joe Ely and many others. After Badge, riding the new wave, Rick started the punk country band Bovine who like Badge played mix of originals and covers. Rick also performed with The Rolling Backouts, The Raging Buchanans, Concrete Cowboy, Coyote, Iowa 80, The Sidewinders, Jonesville and NYC based The Paul Brill Band and Sea of Cortez as well as performing as sideman with many others. Rick has also has played on several recordings including recent CDs with Red Hair Strangers and The Tern Rounders. In addition to the Lazy Suns, Rick continues to perform with the Red Hair Strangers, Double Knots and the Tern Rounders.

Jeff Sohn: Bass & Vocals - Jeff has performed with several acclaimed roots and alt-country acts including the legendary Coal Palance Kings, Hayseed, and Knotworking. He has shared stages with a diverse roster of artists from Rosanne Cash and Charlies Daniels to The Replacements and The Blasters, and even Pete Best of The Beatles. He has performed with many great roots and rock musicians throughout the east coast including Jason Ringenberg (Jason & The Scorchers), Jimmy Ryan (Blood Oranges, Beacon Hillbillies), and Rich Schell (Steve Earle, Allison Moorer, and Pinmonkey).

He always plays to his roots which lie between thoughtful folk, pop, and twang, and unabashed garage band ethos. His work has been the subject of rave reviews from the local pages of the Times Union, Metroland, and Nippertown to national music magazines, such as No Depression, Harp, and the Big Takeover. When not circling around the Suns, he holds down the low end with: the Neil Young-inspired Santa Monica Flyers, Imagining Lennon, which tributes the late Beatle, and the critically recognized psychedelic-punk band, The Last Conspirators.

Jeff is also a songwriter and producer, and contributes these talents to The Lazy Suns as well.

Brad Jarvis: Drums & Vocals - Brad has been a name amongst some of the best musicians that the capital region has to offer. Co-Founder of the legendary group RipRoc Bop, one of the capital regions popular groups back in the day, Brad has shared the stage and has opened shows for such bands as The Ramones, Romantics, Foghat. Danny Gatton, and Marshall Tucker Band. Brad is also a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer.

When not performing with The Lazy Suns, Brad picks up the Bass and joins forces with Marc in their other group "Across The Pond", a tribute to the Fab 4.
