"Production. Sounds like San Francisco got up and sat on London's face"

Hey Phil!
I love it! I don't remember the last time I felt that "I love it!" was all I could say. Well, knowing me as you do, you surely are aware that there's always more I can say, but all that seems important right now is to say that this a very, very, very freaking cool piece of work. I can't wait to hear what you do next! Rhythm section is smackin' ass, bro! I'm so genuinely proud of you guys. The influences are from exactly where I'd want them to be from. The writing speaks of The Who all over the place and even Queen in a couple of spots! Kinks are in there. Steppenwolf! But these are just respectful quotations. Tasteful references. Nice production. Sounds like San Francisco got up and sat on London's face! Nice choices all over the joint. One day, This CD is fu--ing epic!!!! It is actually talking to me in a way I scarcely recall from my days of being a hot shit 19 year-old kid breaking on the scene and pissing people off left and right in 1970! That's a gift. Thanks so much for it. I just heard something that made me think of the band Spirit. There goes Arthur Lee and Love. I know I'm citing a lot of references here, and in some cases, that could mean a lack of originality. Not with this! Not at all!! It's just putting me in mind of all the stuff I loved back in a magical era of limitlessness and sonic possibility.
Did I mention that I really like this CD?
