....League of Proper Musicians started things off with a high-energy set of percussion-heavy jam rock. The band’s musicianship was on display as it went through extensive time signature changes with ease. The guys got a good response from the crowd, and the judges (Plain Dealer columnist Michael Heaton and the Rock Hall’s Shelby Morrison) all generally liked the band.

Bio
My name is Chris, I play guitar in the League of Proper Musicians. I very much dislike writing bios about my band. I will spare you, the reader, the usual adjective and metaphor ridden drivel typically found in a band bio. Anthony, Jason and Mike are in the band with me. We are based out of Cleveland and Canton, OH. We write good tunes and we play them well. Our styles include funk, latin, rock, fusion and more. The people that come to our performances seem to be very entertained. I know this because, after the show they usually stop one of us in the band and tell us we're really good. We say thank you and feel great. We sing songs about Cows, Sharks, Vaginas, and living in Cleveland, OH. Promoters, please let the music speak for itself.
