Born in Dothan, Alabama, and raised in Campbellton, Florida, The Legendary WillyMac introduces to the music industry one of the most unique voices since Robert Johnson, Al Green, Ceelo and many more influential singers. In August, 2006, WillyMac recorded his first professional song, "Savannah", produced by Ant Banks in Atlanta Georgia and continued to work with many more producers, Keshawn Adams, Spiracy, and G-Fat (360 Studios), and list goes on. In November, 2007, WillyMac moved to Tallahassee Florida and began working with Explosion Entertainment in which he became very close friends with several members from the orignal group NAPPY HEADS, (T-Pain's group in Tallahassee), and another local artist Brian Burney, in which Willy later gave him the name "Sugga Bear", because he had a charming way with the ladies. Both artist realized they brought creativity to their music while working together so they decided to refer to their sound as "Soul/Jive. While working with various artist in Tallahassee Florida, WillyMac continued to travel the east coast and promote his music to D.J.' s, club owners, radio stations, and internet. WillyMac also worked close with independent record labels 581 Musik Group (Jagged Edge), Empire Records (Phoenix Az), Down For The Crown Records (Savannah Ga), and has opened for artists, Naughty By Nature, L.L. Cool J, 69 Boyz, T-Pain, J.T. Money, and Trick Daddy.
