Re: The Legends Featuring Ronnie The Hat
It is an honor to call your attention to The Legends Featuring "Ronnie the Hat". This group is truly outstanding in every aspect. The Legends Featuring Ronnie "the Hat" is without a doubt the premier show band in their genre (Oldies R&B).
The Legends were the featured act at Eagle Jam '09, a nine-act concert in support of the construction of a new high school in Ozark, Alabama. I had previously been told that The Legends always provide a tremendous show. Having now experienced a Legends preformance, I can honestly say that to call their preformance "tremendous" is an understatement.
The Legends preform with unbound energy. As the show progressed it became obvious that everyone inside the Civic Center was being entertained. All though I have traveled extensively, I have never attended a more entertaining concert than that provided by The Legends Featuring "Ronnie the Hat".
As you can tell from this writing, I was very impressed by The Legends' performance at our concert. In fact, I was so impressed that I have already announced that The Legends will be our featured act at Eagle Jam '10 later this year.

Bio
Ronnie "The Hat" Robinson, the Legends' front man and lead vocalist, honed his musical magic performing with such greats as Percy Sledge, Clarence Carter, The Drifters, and the Temptations. Until August 2009, "The Hat" spent more than sixteen years performing as a featured artist with The Hard Hitting Tams. The Tams are famous for such big hits as Untie Me, What Kind of Fool, and Be Young, Be Foolish, but be happy.
Now, Ronnie has teamed with five successful artists who have magic of their own. The results are a musical experience at which everyone in the audience feels as if every song is done "just for them".
Doug George, the group's bass player, was the first of The Legends to team with Ronnie. Doug also plays piano, drums, and several string instruments. Doug started hid first band at age 14 and has been performing form more than forty years.
Joey Brown plays lead guitar and vocals. Joey also has been performing for more than forty years. He is a showman in the truest sense.
Mike Gill is The Legend's music director, plays key boards, and provides background vocals. Mike not only understands making music; he also understands the business of performing.
Ritch Brown is a "genius" on the electronic synthesizer. He also plays keyboards, bass, and drums. He has played with several notable groups. His energy and boyish smile is as evident as when he began performing may years ago.
Maurice "The Hammer" Ward is the most recent addition to the group. He picked up a pair of drum sticks at age eleven and not put them down since. He began touring at nineteen. In addition to drums, Maurice's voice adds even more magic to a Legends performance.
