The Lemming Ways' music is made of everything they love from Montreal: karaokes, shameless romances and difficult mornings.

Biography

The Lemming Ways came together in 2008 when Marc felt the need to take the songs he was writing out of his bedroom. Gabriel and Marco (Banjo Consorcium, Harvest Breed) joined the singer and the band recorded an E.P with the help of David Bryant (Godspeed you black Emperor!).

The recording was mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Geoff Peschec (Gorillaz, Coldplay, Aphez Twin). The band's mix of british inluences (Belle and Sebastian, Pulp) and more experimental sounds (Neu!, Kraftwerk) blend together perfectly creating a sound of their own. The band's second E.P Two Poles came out in May 2013 and was produced with Etienne Dupuis-Cloutier (Fanny Bloom, Coeur de pirate).

They will release their first full-length album in early 2015, also produced by Etienne Dupuis-Cloutier. You can expect everything you love about them, Montreal and featurings with Sabrina Halde (from band Groenland) and Ariane Bisson McLernon (from band Alice & the Intellects).
