Bio
The Lesson is a 4 member Toronto-based band. Formed out of a deep friendship and commitment to music, The Lesson's sound is best described as "happy songs for sad people". Lead singer Jon Manalo's catchy melodies are mixed perfectly with guitarist Trevor Juras' cranked 1960s amp, Godfrey Teeoh's melodic basslines and Lucas Mailing's solid backbeat. Their songs are infectious, unpretentious and full of substance. And when Jon breaks out his dance moves on stage, The Lesson's live show wins over every crowd it sets out to entertain. And come on…their name is great.
