The Letter 6 started out as a rap/metal band but then, after some member changes, they became a more post hardcore influenced supergroup. They've played venues such as the 9:30 club in DC as well as many local venues. They play mostly original music, however have covered songs by Chiodos, My Chemical Romance, Mumford and Sons, blink-182, and Family Force 5. They host a music festival on their bassists property as well as playing shows with big names such as William Beckett (formerly of The Academy Is...). They've been commended for their unique sound and energetic stage presence.
