Playing in venues and bars for over a decade entertaining a wide variety of individuals Noah Cothern has a comfortable way with the stage. That decade allowed for performances with various bands, radio play, and even a few tours with record label backing and support. Each endeavor adding to the mix of interactive live performance and engaging melodies.

One of the most influential aspects of Noah Cothern's music has been the ongoing battle with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Having this since birth it has helped shaped his vision of the world and the way in which he expresses it lyrically. It also has influenced the decision to take 100% of profits from all online sales of the band's music and donate it to help the fight against lupus and childhood diseases.

Lyrics

Kemosabi

Written By: Noah Cothern

Oh my heart is sinking down
I didn't even know it could drown
Until just now oh
I'm settling in place
Content with this here being my space for now
Cause I know it's not for too, too, too, too long no

Pain is the mistress that I know
So ever dependently dedicated to my bones
And if ever I could leave her I would ever so eager
Turn to life without looking back no
I don't even want her but addiction won't let her go (won't let her go)
When will my grip on her heart end I hope it's soon
But nobody can tell no
Nobody can know

I'm tripping over all of these simple phrases
In and out of all of these intimate phases
Every time I get a foot hold
You just seem to knock me down oh
I'm not sure if its me or something deep inside of me
That I do see But I
Think this all becoming to much for me to bear

Pain is the mistress that I know
So ever dependently dedicated to my bones
And if ever I could leave her I would ever so eager
Turn to life without looking back no
I don't even want her but addiction won't let her go (won't let her go)
When will my grip on her heart end I hope it's soon
But nobody can tell no
Nobody can know

Stay

Written By: Noah Cothern

Well hold me down just oh so tightly
Cause this is the way that things just might be
From now on I may be strumming the last few
Words of my very last song
Cause I don't know what you're told
But I heard I sold my soul away
But then you walked in the door and you
Gave it right back to me

Oh I'm trying to find a way
To tell you to stay
I may not find the right words to say
But baby I've got love

Well ups and downs and ins and outs
This is the what relationships are all about I know
But either you are my friend or also my foe
Somedays I don't know what this could
Or ever will hold to me I know
I just need you lying here in this bed next to me for now

Oh I'm trying to find a way
To tell you to stay
I may not find the right words to say
But baby
I'm trying to find a way to tell you to stay
I may not find the right words to say
But baby oh

I know this much is true
When it comes to
Me and you
I'll never be so so far away
So far to say

Oh I'm trying to find a way
To tell you to stay
I may not find the right words to say
But baby I've got love
