Playing a mix of rock, punk, metal and pop genres, makes them tricky to define. Influences include bands and artists such as Killswitch Engage, 30 Seconds To Mars, Nickelback, Funeral for a Friend.
It is often said The Light Divided have an epic sound, with impressive vocal melodies and harmonies. Something the band are very proud of.

The Light Divided are based on the south coast UK, beginning in 2006 by guitarist Chris Miller, on a mission to find the right people, with the right passion, drive and talent to succeed. The band has come a long way since and is now in a very strong, stable and mature position.
The band have an ever increasing fan base which remain close and loyal through means of FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, mailing lists and direct communication, the fans are vital and are made to feel involved.
Playing ever more important and high profile shows, the band have played alongside artists such as The Blackout, Attack! Attack!, Go:Audio, We Are The Ocean, My Passion, Heavens Basement, Glamour of the Kill, Bitune, My Mind’s Weapon.
Every show is treated as an opportunity to win over new fans, and a great responseis always received.
Each band member works, enabling money to be invested into the band for recording, producing merchandise and promotion. This continues to be very effective and money made from selling merchandise is put back into the band.
Artwork, branding and image is considered very important and the band handle this themselves, designing and creating their own website, myspace, stickers, T-shirt designs, posters and fliers.
The Light Divided are a powerful, emotional rock band, ambitious and determined to go far.
